Join us to celebrate Vulcan XL426's 60th Birthday and see the Vulcan blast down the London Southend Airport runway on Saturday 27 August.Viewing will be from the Trust's exclusive visitor area in front of its hangar. This will give an uninterrupted view across the airport and unrivalled photographic opportunities.
XL426 will make two passes down the runway. The second pass will be at high-speed and XL426 will deploy her brake parachute (subject to serviceability). XL426 will then taxi back to the apron area, giving a superb close-up view as the Vulcan taxies in and shuts down her engines.
