About

The Council Chambers is a spacious room, with a glorious painted ceiling showing a classical depiction of the twelve months of the year. The main features of this room are the Mayor's Chair, supplied in 1887 by Arrowsmiths of Bond Street, London, two stained glass windows depicting the full Roman history of the Borough and a balcony offering a unique vantage point for your guests. The Council Chamber is a unique and memorable venue for weddings and commitment ceremonies.
