About

English Spirit distillery have opened the doors to their Grade II listed Black Barn at Great Yeldham Hall, and would like to welcome you in for a distillery tour and tasting like no other.

The Black Barn, which is nearly 200 years old, is home Twenty copper pot alembic stills, the home of English rum, and a divine collection of scratch distilled spirits & liqueurs. You’ll get to see the distillery team, turning the stills and infusing our pioneering range of spirits with the finest quality ingredients.

We’re delighted to welcome visitors to the home of English Spirit, sharing the knowledge of our Master Distiller, Dr. John Walters, and allowing you to sample our sensational range. Following Covid-19 safety measures, tours are currently limited to weekday evening & weekends only, to minimise visit and staff contact. Tour lengths are reduced to around 60 minutes, with maximum group size being reduced from 20 to 10.
