About

This summer, embark on a family adventure at RHS Garden Hyde Hall with Brick Explorers – a spectacular celebration of wildlife, creativity and discovery.

From 18 July to 31 August 2026, families can explore the garden and uncover incredible brick-built wildlife sculptures inspired by the plants, animals and fungi that call our gardens home. As families complete the wildlife mission, they'll uncover the special superpowers that help nature thrive and learn how they can support biodiversity at home.

Visitors can also enjoy a unique interactive storytelling walk with storyteller Mike Dodsworth, bringing the natural world to life through engaging tales and adventure. At our popular build station, families can help "plant" a brick city garden with nature-inspired designs in free bookable sessions, while younger children can enjoy creative play with giant building blocks.

With hands-on activities, imaginative storytelling and plenty of opportunities to learn about nature, Brick Explorers offers a memorable family day out this summer.

Brick Explorers combines outdoor exploration, wildlife learning and imaginative play, creating a summer experience the whole family can enjoy together.
