About

Frinton Summer Theatre presents Cinema on Sea at the McGrigor Hall

From Academy Award-winning director Chloé Zhao comes Hamnet, a deeply moving adaptation of Maggie O'Farrell's bestselling novel. Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal star as Agnes and William Shakespeare, whose love and family life are shattered by tragedy – ultimately inspiring one of Shakespeare's greatest works, Hamlet.

Beautifully filmed and intensely human, Hamnet is an unforgettable story of love, loss, family and the power of art.

Certificate: 12A
Running time: 2 hrs 6 mins, plus 15-minute interval
Doors open: 30 minutes before the screening
