A special event for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee is being organised for Burnham as part of the Essex Book Festival. The one-day event, called Greenwood Words, will be held around the Quay throughout the afternoon. Enjoy Salty Storytelling with award-winning storyteller Glenys Newton, The Poetry Pharmacy with William Sieghart, Crafty Workshops, Pop-Up Writing Desks, Witchy Walks along the Crouch, plus the opportunity to Plant Your Own Jubilee Acorn.
