Mundon Village Sign with the beacon above it

About

Mundon Parish Council is hosting a day of events to celebrate Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, starting with a traditional tea party (bring your own picnic) on Woodside Green with music and face painting, followed by a barbecue and disco in the village hall.

The culmination of the day will be the lighting of the beacon, which normally sits atop the village sign, but will be moved to Woodside Green for the event and lit with a real flame. This will be lit at 21:40.
