Candle burning on a windowsill

About

Churches Together in Burnham will be remembering the second anniversary of the first Covid-19 lockdown, as part of the National Day of Reflection. "To help us remember, give thanks and stand together at this time..."

Churches in the town will be open for prayer from 10am to 5pm and at 11.45am there will be a short time of prayer and reflection at the town beacon, including observing the national minute's silence at 12 noon. People are also asked to place a light in their front window at 8pm to mark the day.

Participating churches are All Saints Church in Creeksea, Burnham Baptist Church, St Cuthbert Catholic Church, St Mary the Virgin and Burnham United Reformed Church (incorporating the Methodist Church).
