About

This year Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary celebrates 40 years of caring for abused and neglected animals.
You are warmly invited to join us at our birthday Open Day on June 4th from 1pm – 4pm, when you can see our wonderful animals and the work we do in 40 acres of beautiful Essex countryside.
The day will include live music, stalls selling gifts, books & bric a brac, a children's corner plus tombolas and a lucky dip. Tickets on the gate are £6 adults/£4 children.
A cream tea is being served and the price of £15 per person includes the entry free – pre booking is advised, although there will be a few to purchase on the day.
Parking is on our fields with a disabled parking area. Dogs are welcome on a lead.
You can find out more at www.remussanctuary.org
