About

Writtle Sunflowers is a PYO flower field run as part of a family farm near Chelmsford. A great day out in the English countryside, child (and dog!) friendly! Selling pick your own sunflowers and wild flowers with a picnic area, a small maze and a sunflower walk at no extra cost. Refreshments available and lots of wonderful photo opportunities! Usually open towards the end of July until the end of August, depending on the weather and the flowers! Bring your own secateurs or we have some available to hire or buy. Entrance by pre-booked ticket only.
