About

This intriguing exhibition of printmaking is enjoyable and also excites the imagination. It explores the theme of time, memory and evolution, ranging from the metamorphosis happening in the parks and gardens around us to the transient nature of our whole world. Inspired by history, genealogy and archaeology it represents man's impact through time.

The participating artists who met at Digswell Arts Studios in Hertfordshire are Caryl Beach, Mary Down, Jonathan Emmerson, Marian Hall, Declan Hoare, and Sally Tyrie.

Maybe the meaning of the prints is not immediately obvious, but they are lovely to see for their amazing colour and textures.
