About

The second art exhibition at The Driftwood Gallery at Photovogue in Frinton is by Tracey Shayer. Tracey trained as a gilder and spent many years gilding frames for beautiful pieces of art, by other artists, for London galleries and private collections. In July, the gallery will display Tracey's own masterpieces. Tracey explains: "My art isn't a pre meditated idea that I then reproduce but rather a feeling, usually it starts with a colour. I paint only with knives as I find brushes confining, sometimes I have to wait…..sometimes the paintings come fast, I am always thrilled and delighted to see them.
