The death of a monarch. Civil unrest. Foreign disputes… Sound familiar?
A controversial ruler has died. Decades of infighting have left a scarred, divided kingdom. And an inexperienced young prince inherits the throne.
When the new King Henry receives a humiliating insult from across the Channel, he launches England into full-scale war with France.
Vastly outnumbered on the fields of France, one decisive battle will cement the name of Henry V into the history books. But will he be remembered as national hero or historic disaster?
Our scene is set. Join us for a contemporary take on Shakespeare's Henry V.

Road Directions
The postcode for SatNav is CM15 8AG. The Theatre is set back from the main road and not always easy to spot first time. If you are coming from the M25, exit at Junction 28 and follow signs to Brentwood.
The car park adjacent to the Theatre is not our property.
Public Transport Directions
The Theatre is located almost the same distance from Shenfield and Brentwood stations. Both are approximately a 20 minutes walk away, or 5 minutes by taxi. If you are travelling from Stratford or London Liverpool Street, it is often quicker to take a fast train to Shenfield than the TFL line to Brentwood, although the fare may be more expensive.
