About

The Three Horseshoes newly refurbished Coffee Shed is now open 5 days a week Wednesday – Friday 10am-2pm and Saturday & Sunday 9am-2pm.

Our freshly made croissants and sausage rolls have always been a big hit in the mornings, but we now have the addition of paninis, cro-buns, seasonal fruit, locally-made TEMPRD chocolate and old-fashioned sweets. Freshly baked artisan sourdough, Sticky Pickle chutneys and handmade greetings cards by artist Melanie Butcher are also available to takeaway.

We don’t take bookings for The Coffee Shed so just swing by and grab a seat in the sun or undercover, or if you’re on the move, you can always take away.

Keep an eye on our socials to see what days our Sourdough will be available!

The Three Horseshoes is a family-run country pub and restaurant. Born out of a passion for great food and hospitality, Moira, Sam, Abbie and team are committed to bringing you the very best produce, friendly service, fantastic wines, and a great selection of local beers.

Located on the outskirts of Colchester surrounded by open fields and woodland, the pub is open five days a week and was recently awarded 2 rosettes from the AA Restaurant Guide.

Looking out over Woodland Trust land, The Three Horseshoes is a popular spot for walkers.
