About

Brentwood Borough Council reopened the Brentwood Centre on 5 December 2020.

The reception area, pool, changing rooms and amin hall have all been inspected and are now fit for purpose with the necessary Covid-19 requirements for social distancing in place. The Council are continuing to review health and safety works on the rest of the centre which will inform the timeline for the further opening of the rest of the building.

The building has also been identified as a prefered site for a mass vaccination centre so part of the International Hall will be used to facilitate this and will impact on the range of activities that will be available for the public to use at the Centre. It is vital the centre plays a role in benfiting it's Community and we are pleased it can be available for this vital purpose.

The Brentwood Centre is following the government road map on Monday 29 March 2021 and is a phased re-opening so not all facilities or activities are initially available. At the leisure centre Customers are encouraged to wear face masks when in the communal areas of the building. Please note that currently only card payments can be accepted.

From Monday 29 March the 3G pitch and beach volleyball court will be open, alongside with outdoor group exercise classes in the self-contained garden area (weather permitting).

Monday 12 April

From Monday 12 April, step 2 of the Governments Roadmap permits us to open the gym (on own or with household), the swimming pool (on own or with household), under 18s swimming lessons and parent child classes.
