About

This 69 mile cycle trail takes you through the beautiful Essex and Suffolk Countryside exploring the scenery which inspired some of the most famous landscape artists; John Constable, Sir Alfred Munnings and Thomas Gainsborough. Much of the route is in  an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and uses a mixture of mainly quiet roads, cycle paths and well-surfaced tracks.

Copies of the trail can be purchased from the Visit Colchester Information Centre.
