Join Essex Book Festival for some midsummer family magic in The Minories Garden with crafts, Earth Kitchen, and lots of storytelling.

Settle in for an afternoon of lively discussion with Tony Peake talking about the new edition of his book Derek Jarman: The Authorised Biography, followed by Maggi Hambling in conversation with art historian, James Cahill.

Then join Radhika Howarth for an eye-opening and tastebud-tingling journey of history ,fusion and flavour with Radikal Kitchen: Flavours Without Borders – this event includes the opportunity to taste some for the food and spices being discussed. Spaces limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

These events are in partnership with The Minories and are kindly supported by Colchester City Council Cultural and Creative Events Fund.
