About

Come and get a little creative this Christmas with Chelmsford artist, illustrator and graphic designer Sarah Wenman.

A chance to switch off, get creative and enjoy some Christmas downtime before the festive madness begins! In this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop, we'll start with some simple watercolour warm-ups before playing with colour, texture and shape to create your own abstract festive artwork. Your paintings will then be turned into Christmas cards and gift tags, giving you something handmade to share, keep or even frame afterwards.

Sarah is a resident artist at Artists at the Meadows in Chelmsford, where she creates abstract watercolour artwork inspired by nature, scuba diving and her love of long-distance running. She also runs creative workshops locally and works professionally as a graphic designer and illustrator.

Suitable for all abilities - no previous experience needed! Includes museum admission, tea and coffee, and some festive treats. All materials and take-home worksheets are included.
