About

Maldon books is hosting a discussion and book signing with Jessica Andrews, author of the bestselling novel, Saltwater, and winner of the 2020 Portico Prize. Jessica will be talking about her new book Milk Teeth which follows the story of a girl growing up in the north-east of England amid scarcity, precarity and a toxic culture of bodily shame, certain that she must make herself ever smaller to be loved. Years later, living in tiny rented rooms and working in noisy bars across London and Paris, she fights to create her own life. Tickets include a glass of bubbly and there's the option to buy a signed copy of the book as well.
