About

Discover 50 portraits of some of the world's greatest authors, created entirely using a typewriter by artist James Cook. Drop in during normal library opening hours. From William Shakespeare and Jane Austen to Ernest Hemingway and Stephen King, the exhibition celebrates authors from across generations, countries and genres. Look closely and you will discover how thousands of individually typed characters have been layered together to create each portrait. Authors in Type: A Typewriter Art Exhibition
