About

Join us as we observe and record the nature all around us. Do you know what an herbarium is? Inspired by the Victorians, we'll create our own nature book so we can ID plants, view real nature samples from Hylands Park and nature samples from 1844!

We'll be making nature prints using cyanotype paper, drawing and making plants to go into our own identification books and learning how to identify some of the trees and plants we see around us.

These sessions are held indoors in the Wells Suite at Chelmsford Museum.

Activities are suitable for ages over 6 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult, who can attend for free.
