Enjoy a quieter visit to Colchester Castle on Sunday 3 January from 3pm to 5pm. Designed for visitors who benefit from a calmer environment, including those with autism or sensory sensitivities, this special session offers reduced sensory stimulation with sounds and visual displays turned off. A dedicated sensory space is available away from the main galleries, and ear defenders, visual guides and twiddlemuffs can be borrowed free of charge from reception. Included with Castle admission, this welcoming session offers a more relaxed way to explore one of Colchester's most iconic historic attractions.
