About

A 90 minute tour of the Cathedral lead by our guide, featuring the history and purpose of the building from medieval times to the present day.

Chelmsford Cathedral stands at the heart of the city, but as you enter the building you notice immediately a sense of peace amidst the bustle of city life. It is also unexpectedly light and bright. This iconic building is set among beautiful grounds which are enjoyed by many on a daily basis.

What can you expect to see during your visit? The tours will include a commentary on how the building has encountered changes over time and you will also hear how today there are many different forms of artwork that are displayed inside the Cathedral.
