Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, based on Roald Dahl’s classic novel, features an original score by Marc Shaiman, with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman, and a book by David Greig. It also includes iconic songs from the 1971 film, such as “Candy Man” and “Pure Imagination”.

Willy Wonka invites five lucky golden ticket winners, including young Charlie Bucket, into his secretive factory. There, they discover a world beyond their own imagination, with Oompa-Loompas, nutty squirrels, unbelievable sweets and of course plenty of chocolate.

Get your own golden ticket to this sweet treat of a musical and come on a journey with CO2 into Willy Wonka’s magical world, right here at the Mercury Theatre.
