Step into a world of legends with our mythical creature-themed gallery sessions! Meet costumed characters, enjoy fun games, and collect a special sticker. Perfect for curious kids and families exploring the Castle, and an ideal activity after visiting our enchanting Mythical Creatures exhibition. From 28 July to 1 August, and then weekly from 4–8, 11–15, 18–22, and 25–29 August, historical characters will be roaming the galleries of Colchester Castle each day between 10:30 and 11:30 AM and again from 3 to 4:30 PM.

These playful, informal encounters are perfect for families and curious visitors of all ages.
