The Empty Bears is the fresh collaboration of notable Southend based singer/songwriters, and former Dead City Athletic bandmates, Phil Burdett and Kev Butler, and "She-Bear" Colleen McCarthy. Each bringing their own flavour to the creative process and rich vocal blend, they perform beautifully crafted, original, harmony-driven, Folk/Alt-Country/Americana tunes, drawing on broad cross-genre influences.

A captivating force from Leigh-on-Sea, Ruby Bea has evolved from a local acoustic favourite into a prominent voice in the UK indie-pop scene. Known for her soaring, crystalline vocals and a piano-led sound that balances vulnerability with cinematic power. A seasoned live performer, Ruby has graced major stages at Latitude Festival and Green Man Festival, as well as the legendary Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club.
