About
As part of First Thursdays Festival, visit Colchester Castle for a relaxed opening designed for visitors with autism or sensory sensitivities. From 3pm to 5pm, sounds and visual displays will be turned off to create a calmer atmosphere. A quiet area with sensory toys and items will be available in the Chapel, and ear defenders, visual guides and twiddlemuffs can be borrowed from reception. Suitable for ages 4+, this supportive session is included with Castle admission. Tickets can be purchased online or on the day.
