About

Sunday 28 May sees the return of the Ford RideLondon-Essex coming into our picturesque county. Hailed as the world's greatest festival, an estimated 25,000 cyclists of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are expected to take part, raising millions for charity.

The rides take place on traffic-free roads with 100, 60 and 30 mile challenges. All rides start at Victoria Embankment in central London with the 100 and 60-mile routes entering Essex via scenic Epping Forest. Riders will pass through some of the county's most attractive towns, villages and countryside including Epping, Ongar, Great Dunmow, Felsted and Writtle. Riders will return to London for a spectacular finish at Tower Bridge.

Spectators are invited to come along to Essex and cheer the riders on. There will be activation points and community pitstops along the route to help you soak up the atmosphere, enjoy what Essex has to offer and make the most of this special day.
