Public parking is available nearby at Priory Street Car Park, Britannia Car Park and St Mary's Car Park. The Castle is a short walk from all town centre car parks.
Public Transport Directions
Colchester North Station is approximately one mile from Colchester Castle, around a 20-minute walk. Frequent bus services operate between the station and Colchester town centre, with stops just a few minutes from the Castle entrance. From the High Street, follow signs through Castle Park to the museum. Taxis are available from Colchester North Station.
