About
For a more sustainable garden, creative horticulturist Lucy Redman will show you how to use plants adapted to either drought or waterlogged conditions. You will look at perennials verses annuals and will learn how to look after, embrace and enhance your soil. Ways to encourage wildlife into the garden, rainwater collection and being aware of eco-friendly hard landscape materials will also be explored.
There will be a tour of the garden looking at plants with varying leaf or root adaptions whilst discussing Beth's famous principle - right plant, right place. Find out about varying mulches, compost techniques and examples of different permeable paths and recycled wall materials. Suitable for both beginners or experienced gardeners.
