We're opening our doors for free on 20 & 21 September to celebrate Heritage Open Days!

Discover Chelmsford's rich past through exhibitions spanning prehistory to modern times, including The Story of Chelmsford, The Natural World, and Our Chelmsford Gallery. Don't miss Shifting Perspectives, exploring artworks through the eyes of people living with dementia.

Families can enjoy trails, activity packs, colouring, and puzzles, plus an Archaeology Object Handling table on Saturday morning.

Whether you're fascinated by Romans, Victorians, or contemporary art, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
