St Mary's Church in West Bergholt

About

St Mary's Church dates from the 14th Century, although it is believed to have Saxon origins. Reused Roman bricks are used in the walls and the North Wall is 1000 years old. The church is now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust

Inside the church there is a Royal Coat of Arms which is a rare survivor from the reign of James I.

Short talks will take place throughout the day
