PART OF COLCHESTER FRINGE FESTIVAL

By Ian Lane (London, England)

The average Brit takes 49 minutes to get ready for work in the morning. In this multimedia stand-up comedy show, autistic human and retro video game speedrunner Ian Lane provides a real-time illustrated step-by-step commentary on this process - waking up, getting out of bed, remembering how to walk, walking, toileting, shaving, showering, getting the shower water off your body, digging usable clothes out of your heaving floordrobe, putting them on the correct body parts, preparing breakfast, eating breakfast, drinking breakfast, cleaning breakfast out of your teeth, improving your face and hair, putting useful items in a bag, putting the useful bag on your shoulders and putting your useful feet in some shoes.

The show ends when he leaves the house for work...but will he make it?
