About

Presented by Chelmsford Amateur Operatic And Dramatic Society.

A classic musical that weaves a backstage drama with Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, Kiss Me, Kate follows the tumultuous relationship between divorced Fred and Lilli, who are starring in a production of the play. Their personal conflicts spill onto the stage, leading to comedic chaos.

Exploring themes of love, jealousy, and reconciliation, and filled with catchy songs and witty humour, the show blends romance and comedy, showcasing the complexities of both theatre and human relationships.
