About

Make magical memories on Wednesdays in August.

Keep the kids entertained on a day out with a steam hauled train service with added magic.

Child tickets are just £1 too!

Experience the heritage of the Epping Ongar Railway this summer, as you journey through glorious countryside and ancient forest on our steam and diesel hauled trains in comfortable 1960s carriages, all on the doorstep of London! We've added magic on Wednesdays this summer as John, our resident magician, will be providing entertainment on board the train, leaving you wondering just how he did that!

A connecting vintage London bus service will operate connecting to the London Underground Central Line at Epping (which is in zone 6) and to Shenfield station (for Greater Anglia and Elizabeth Line services).

Our tickets are valid all day on our heritage trains and vintage London buses so you can travel as much as you please on the date of your visit, or break your journey and return on a later train.
