Marvel at the awe inspiring spectacle of the red planet as Luke Jerram's Mars: War & Peace arrives at Chelmsford Cathedral from 21 October to 12 November 2025. Suspended from the Nave, this breathtaking six-metre artwork, crafted from detailed NASA imagery, reveals every Martian valley, crater, volcano and mountain in stunning detail. Following the success of Gaia in 2022, which drew record crowds, this new installation promises to captivate once again. Yet, it's more than an art exhibition - it's a profound conversation, inviting visitors to reflect on our place in the cosmos and our shared responsibilities here on Earth.
