About

Ho-ho-ho, it's nearly Christmas Eve! Bells are jingling, reindeer are limbering up and Santa's sleigh is being polished. So now is the perfect time to join us for festive fun and frolics all themed on the best-selling Christmas books by Kes Gray!

On Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd December, get hands on painting and making Christmas Gnomes, create your own Northern Lights picture, and have a go at our toy making time trial.

Activities are suitable for ages over 5 to 10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult, who can attend for free, including entry to the museum.

Admission: One free adult per child, additional adults pay the museum admission fee of £4 unless they hold a membership.

Whilst you're there, enjoy our family-friendly exhibition 'Oi Chelmsford!' that explores the works of Chelmsford-born bestselling children's author, Kes Gray from Sunday 29 November.
