About

THE PAUL SIMON STORY

The UK's no.1 Paul Simon tribute band "Shades of Simon" will be bringing their highly acclaimed 2 hour theatre style show in tribute to Paul Simon as one of the best songwriters and performers of his generation to Ingatestone Hall in August 2024.

With an engaging narration, exceptional musicianship from the 5-piece band, and authentic renditions of the best of his songs from his time in Simon & Garfunkel in the 60's through to his Graceland tour in the 1980's, this is a show that appeals to all generations.

The performance will include early Simon & Garfunkel hits that have endured the test of time like Homeward Bound, The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water, through to the infectious South African rhythms of Paul Simon's Graceland tour and his biggest solo success, You Can Call Me Al.

The show will start at 7:00pm and be performed on the terrace against the backdrop of the house, with the picnic area occupying the adjacent lawns of the main garden. This will be a fairly small intimate picnic concert with numbers limited to 160. Please bring your own picnic chairs or rugs, and picnic hamper with food and drinks. This is an open air event and the concert will go ahead whatever the weather, so please come suitably prepared!
