About

Join us for a hauntingly fun half term at Chelmsford Museum, as we learn more about witchcraft with some spooky puppet making!

There are activities for all ages in our two-hour craft making workshops. Kids can enjoy:

- Colouring in paper finger puppets (suitable for ages 2+)
- Creating shadow puppets and playing with our shadow puppet theatre to test them out! (suitable for ages 4+)
- Making cardboard tube puppets inspired by witch's familiars (suitable for ages 6+)

There are also opportunities for dressing up, though we welcome anyone coming in a frightening costume already! We'll be finding our spookiest items to put on display on our volunteer-led object handling table.

Everyone attending the session will need to book a free place, and all children must be accompanied by an adult
