Discover how stories were told through pictures in Norman England in this creative drop-in workshop at Colchester Castle. Inspired by the Bayeux Tapestry, participants will create their own illustrated scene using drawing, colour and fabric texture rubbings. Led by arts practitioner Clare Sams, this hands-on activity is suitable for all ages and abilities, with Norman-themed colouring sheets available for younger children. Drop in any time between 10.30am and 12.30pm and enjoy a fun, family-friendly creative experience included with Castle admission. Spaces are limited and waiting times may apply during busy periods.
