A powerful exhibition by The Singh Twins, examining the legacies of Empire, enslavement, conflict and luxury consumerism in our modern world.
Featuring intricately detailed life-size illuminated artworks and
satirical illustrations which invite us to examine hidden and
neglected histories, connections forged through shared colonial heritage and the real human and environmental cost of global trade and consumerism.
Presented at Firstsite, Museum of the Year 2021. Curated in partnership with Essex Cultural Diversity Project
