About

Be inspired by the stunning regional map featured in our Mythical Creatures exhibition—but look closely, and you'll notice some curious gaps. Where are the cryptids, legends, and magical beings that roam our local folklore?

In this creative workshop, we'll explore the stories and mythical creatures hidden in the landscape, then design and draw our own imaginative additions to complete the map. To spark ideas, we'll also take a short walk through the museum's permanent galleries, highlighting some of the fantastical beings already on display.

Perfect for curious minds aged 6-16, this session blends storytelling, art, and a touch of magic.
