Join Colchester Museums for a unique hands-on experience exploring fascinating insect collections. Discover specimens rarely seen by the public and learn more about Essex's wildlife and natural heritage. Participants can try photographing, labelling and sorting museum collections while helping support the redevelopment of Colchester Natural History Museum. These free sessions provide an opportunity to get closer to museum collections and contribute to a project that will help shape the museum's future. Suitable for ages 18 and over.
