Chelmsford Theatres are in the heart of Chelmsford, and play host to the best in comedy, drama, music, dance, cinema and more! Plus every November and December, our panto brings the magic of Christmas to Chelmsford. 

The Civic Theatre seats 504 over two levels - stalls and balcony, and offers an intimate experience where you can fully immerse yourself in the performances. 

​​The Cramphorn Studio, seats 165 and offers a programme of smaller professional touring theatre, music productions, dance and lunchtime concerts, as well as being the home of The Chelmsford Picture House renowned for its innovative mixture of art house, world and mainstream film and live screenings.
