About

Following the success of our 2021 workshop exploring The Tempest, facilitator Annie Eddington returns to help youngsters have fun in the woods with the mechanicals, lovers and fairies of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Annie excels at bringing the text to life and incorporates movement, music and games to help make the process enjoyable.

Using an adapted and abridged Midsummer Night's Dream script, participants will focus on the Mechanicals and the Fairies and what they get up to in the wood. The workshop will culminate with a mimed performance of Pyramus and Thisbe to an invited audience on Friday 18th February, narrated by the Fairy characters. Each participant in the workshop will have lines to say and will be encouraged to take an active part.

The workshop will run from 16-18th February 2022 inclusive, from 9.30am – 4pm. It is designed for delivery to 8 – 12 year olds and is £60 for 3 days.
