Enjoy a calmer visit to Colchester Castle on Sunday 2 August, with reduced sensory stimulation from 3pm to 5pm. Sounds and visual displays are adjusted to create a more relaxed environment for visitors who may benefit from a quieter experience, including those with autism or sensory sensitivities. A dedicated sensory space is available, and ear defenders, visual guides and twiddlemuffs can be borrowed from reception. Suitable for families, this session is included with Castle admission and requires no booking.
