Small mushrooms pepper the surface of an old rotten log

About

Not quite plant, not quite animal - The
Kingdom of Fungi is a vast and fascinating
collection of organisms, estimated to contain around 3
million species. However only 148,000 of these have
been fully recorded and described.
Among the most familiar are the fairytale red and white
Fly Agaric (which is poisonous to humans!) and
Yeast, the bubbling micro-organism that gave you such
hits as bread and beer.
Now we can't promise to show you all 3 million, but if
you want to take your first step on an adventure into
the Fungi Kingdom ‍♂️‍♂️, join us at Daws Hall on Saturday 20th
November 12pm at "Fungi For First-Timers"
