About

In this session, you will draw, explore, laugh and then enjoy a festive lunch together – all accompanied by artist Samantha Barnes. Her events are welcoming, light-hearted and full of confidence-inducing exercises that everyone can take part in.

Samantha is a specialist in engaging people to draw, particularly those that haven't done any for years. Drawing is good for everyone. It's fun, cheap and a great way to connect with others.

Meals are prepared and cooked by Hannah Chapman, resident chef of Firstsite.

Whether you are a super-beginner or an advanced artist, by the end of each workshop, you are guaranteed to feel differently about drawing – and full of delicious food.

These workshops are suitable for ages 16+. Basic materials provided, but feel free to bring your own, no experience necessary, just enthusiasm!
