About

Our popular Small Trains Day is back for 2023 – but it's not just small trains – one of our full sized steam locomotives will also be in action with the Freight Train giving unlimited rides all day. Our Miniature Railway will also be in operation giving rides, and along with our friends from the Braintree and Halstead Model Railway Club there will be a Model Railway exhibition featuring 16+ layouts in a variety of scales as well as a selection of model traders. Check out our working Restoration Shed, the  magnificent Victorian Goods Shed, period Waiting Rooms & Signal Box as well as the Heritage Centre & Train themed Childrens Playground, our site of over 10 acres is ideal if you would like to bring your own picnic.
