About

Braintree Village is set for an action-packed summer as the world's largest inflatable assault course, The Monster, arrives during the summer holidays.
From Saturday 19th July to Sunday 31st August, the Essex shopping outlet will transform the surrounding area into a giant playground with 300 metres of inflatable madness. Packed with more than 40 obstacles including the 18-metre Mega Slide, the chaotic Exterminator, and the infamous House of Hell, The Monster promises unforgettable fun for all ages.
Following tours across Canada and the USA, and sell-out shows at venues including London's Alexandra Palace and Birmingham's NEC, this will be the first time The Monster has appeared in the region – and is set to be the biggest event the outlet has ever hosted.
Further details will be revealed closer to the opening date, but guests can expect daytime sessions for families and younger thrill-seekers, alongside evening experiences with an adult twist. What's more, street food and beverage vendors are set to bring the festival-feel to the experience.
Ticket prices and session timings will be confirmed soon, with bookings set to go live in the coming weeks. Children must be aged 6 years or 1-metre tall to participate. Guests are encouraged to sign up to the outlet's member rewards club, PLUS+, for priority access to tickets and exclusive announcements.
The Monster will be adjacent to the top of the North Car Park, in the same location as the seasonal ice rink and outdoor cinema.
